Clio's White Papers System + e-book

Clio is a legal practice management and client intake software that helps law firms manage day-to-day workflows and business operations.

I have work for Clio on several projects. The first project focused on updated the styling of their White Papers. The existing White Papers didn't follow Clio's brand standards and were not consistent. Clio's team asked me to help them design a whole new system that could be easily re-used in all future White Papers. I created a new master template and provided guidelines that explained how to address all elements from the cover to an opening chapter or a sidebar note. The project was a great success, and it is very easy now to create or update White Papers. I have made more than 10 by now!

Due to 2020 unpredictable events, many small firm lawyers faced new challenges and needed to get back on their feet but didn’t know where to begin. Clio decided to put together a free e-book that would help lawyers test ideas and implement them without putting their firms at risk. Once again, they asked me to join their team to work on this ebook, and they asked me to use the layout and elements that I previously created for the White Papers as they really liked them and would work perfectly for this project.

"Working with Daniela on our document template has been such an enjoyable process. From the initial kickoff, Daniela went above and beyond to come back to us with a full presentation on case study research she had done relevant to our project. The creative case studies she shared with us helped align us on the direction we wanted to move and allowed for impactful conversations with the broader marketing team. As we progressed through the template she took into account many forward-thinking considerations of how her design would play into future documents that would be leveraging this template. I was so impressed by how Daniela took a mobile-first approach to her design and gave us thoughtful presentation decks to share back with our executive team at each iteration. I'm confident that the final template we have now landed on will be timeless for our brand for years to come."
